All express up/down motors are shipped in the “full up” position and should not be bench-tested until fully coupled with the regulator. The vehicle may have faulty wiring or a defective control switch. Most 2-wire window lift motors depend on a voltage polarity change to control direction. If the motor runs in one direction but not the other, the problem is most likely in the wiring or switch. On some older GM applications, the ground is always applied to the motor body, with direction switching being controlled by whichever of the two pins receives voltage.

Noisy operation or a popping sound can be misdiagnosed as a window lift motor problem. What may actually be happening is the regulator cable hold-down may be broken or missing; this would allow the cable to snag on the window regulator bracket as the window is raised, producing the noise. Install a new hold-down or suitable substitute.

Complete Car Parts offers free shipping on thousands of products. Our preferred shipping method is UPS Ground, however smaller items may be shipped USPS First Class or Priority.
Delivery times will vary, and products may ship separately from different warehouses located across the United States. Depending on warehouse locations and shipping destination, delivery times can range from 2 to 6 business days.

Warranty:
Complete Car Parts limited warranty covers against defects in material or workmanship from the date of purchase. A dated sales receipt must be included to show your product was purchased within the warranty period.

We handle all manufacturer warranty claims on your behalf.
Any product found to be defective within 30 days of purchase is eligible for a refund or replacement, however any product found to be defective after 30 days but beforethe warranty period has expired are only eligible for a replacement only. Replacement product does not renew the warranty period.
When a product is found to be defective, Complete Car Parts will cover the costs of shipping of the replacement part to the original purchaser. Warranty and UPS related claims may require authentication, but not limited to pictures, video, or shipment back to the manufacturer.
Note: Do not dispose of defective parts until instructed.
If the defective part is requested to be returned to the manufacturer, Complete Car Parts will issue a call tag for the original purchaser to ship the product back. The original purchaser is responsible for packaging and delivery to a UPS driver or suitable UPS facility for return shipment. Failure to return the requested product will result in denial of current warranty claim.
All returned products must be accompanied by an approved RMA number provided by Complete Car Parts.
No reimbursements will be given for delay, labor, mileage, car rental, or any other costs involved in installation or re-installation of any product in question.
